Accessibility Statement
Last updated: October 13, 2026
We want elyseum.net to be usable by everyone, including people who browse with keyboards, screen readers, or reduced-motion settings. This statement explains our conformance approach and what is still imperfect.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. The site is built with semantic HTML, visible keyboard focus states, a skip-to-content link, labeled form controls, alternative text on meaningful images, and support for the prefers-reduced-motion setting.
Known limitations
The scroll-driven split-screen sequence on the home page is a decorative, scroll-linked animation. It moves only in response to scrolling, and the site remains fully usable if it is skipped.
Some background photography is intentionally dark; we check text contrast over these images and adjust where needed.
Feedback
